How does Tronfy TP6 change the Aspect Ratio

We have researched this issue regarding the aspect ratio problem and made several tests below (Mainly decided by the picture/video sources ratio itself.) Here are the situations:

1. If connected via VGA port, the aspect ratio cannot be adjusted, it decided by the sources ratio at 4:3 or 16:9.

2. If connected via HDMI port, the aspect ratio can be adjusted, there are several modes: Auto, 16:9, zoom1,zoom 2…We tried to connect the projector with MacBook, select auto and the ratio is 4:3. When playing videos, we are able to adjust the image ratio, the ratio which being adjusted is the computer but not the sources.

3. If connected via HDMI port with Iphone 6, it’s a fixed ratio and notable to be adjusted, decided by the sources itself, 4:3/16:9

4. If connected via USB port, it’s a fixed ratio and not able to be adjusted, decided by the sources itself, 4:3/16:9
